Omaia was born from a lifelong search for authenticity and the found connection in making and storytelling.
My journey began with my head deep in books. So deep, in fact, that my parents would have to strip them from my hands to pull me back into the real world. That curiosity for stories, for words, and for worlds beyond my own, quickly blossomed into a desire to create.
My search for stories soon took me around the world. I traveled, collecting as many as I could from people and places along the way. This love for discovery eventually led me into the world of design, where I found myself lost in the profound joy of making objects.
Now, I've created Omaia as a return to it all. It’s a love letter to the awe of life and the people who have had the chance to live it fully. Our purpose is to make jewelry that holds stories, and to collect stories that help us all connect to what truly matters. We believe that life's greatest lessons are found in the little moments, the quiet routines, and the wisdom of those who have lived fully. These are the stories we seek—of people who find childlike joy in the simple, everyday.
